If you couldn't tell, Mackenzie Crook is sitting at his desk as his character Gareth from The Office, and those odd shapes in the background are office supplies.
Mackenzie Crook also plays Ragetti, the "pirate dude with one eye" in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Lol yay! Well it looks perfect in its finished version ^^. Um lol, can I ask you a few questions though? hehe. See, I've been using mechanical pencils lately, because my artist pencils are so crappy. Can I ask what brand you use? And what kind of paper do u think works best? *sorry for all the questions*, because I can't seem to find the right kind. Sketchbook paper, computer paper, etc. I just don't know what to use now hehe.
Thank you! Unfortunately, I wasn't quite "tuned in" when the Office ran (and there's also the fact that I live in the US), so I wasn't able to see the original Office. But I have been able to watch clips on YouTube, and I am definitely a fan of those.
I just use whatever mechanical pencil is within reach. They're all the same to me. But I do use HB or 2B lead, and I prefer a 0.5 mm.
Unless you mean what brand of wood pencils I use? In that case, I usually go for Faber Castell, and Prismacolors work well, too.
I would recommend using any type of acid-free paper, which means no computer paper, which generally contains acid. Acid yellows the paper over time, so your drawings would become...yellow. I happen to like Bristol board, although this Mackenzie piece was done on a sheet of drawing paper that was purchased at 125 sheets for $3.
