Perhaps my eyes deceive me, but it seems like some of the details were rushed, and to me they just look like overly defined dark lines, like in the girl's right shoulder. Details is basically the focal point of my drawing style, so what i always try to do is make sure that within the details and textures, no "lines" are visible, only contrasting values.
Although I usually prefer the ultra smooth methods of shading as opposed to cross hatch, the accuracy of the anatomy makes up for it almost completely for me (although i don't actually know if its accurate). But on the girl's shoulder's it gets a bit too messy.

I think the main thing I feel when looking at this drawing, is that it seems slightly off-centre - almost as if a drawing of the two people had been oddly cropped. It leaves me feelinng slightly edgy, as if I want to slide the frame to the side a bit to even it up. Of course this may just be me and my love of symetricality - which I get the feeling you, and probably a lot of other people care less for.
I think the girl's face looks a little off - almost as if she was pressed up against the background. Her mouth and nose look like they're viewed profile, but her too much of her cheek and eye seem to be visable. Her ear seems a little too far down. (the guy's ear looks a little to tilted backwards, almost heading towards the traditional elvish look, which is at odds with his sculpted form).
The girl's body also doesn't seem quite right to me - maybe it's because of the deep shadow, where I'm not fully sure it's justified, or maybe beacuse of a slight lack of detail or texture compared to the rest of the image.
Overall though, I rather like the image, even though the concept is, as with most 'art,' totally beyond me

you've been drawing people and faces a lot longer than i have though so i'm not too sure.. i'm just basing off what i see ^.^"
gradient done for the tone on the girl's body adds depth in a slighlty odd way that makes the girl's body seem not as 3D as the guy's
if i may ask, what paper is this?
