Hey guys, take a look at this!

"I call bullshit on the 14 year old. She's an obvious attention whore since she makes it a point to tell you she's 14. I dont think those drawings are hers. She made her profile in 2004, she'd have been 11. She entered some art when she was 12 that had the same detail and shading as the newer stuff while sounding almost exactly the same in her comments. No way would she able to draw that good and NOT be featured in magazines or something as a prodigee. Full of shit attention whore. She wants to prove she can draw like that she can record herself drawing. Shouldnt be a problem for an attention whore."

"Maybe her mum did it for her. My mum used to draw pictures in behalf of me, and no one used to complain about it."

"11 year olds dont draw like that. I hate people that try to take credit for something they did. ESPECIALLY girls. I've noticed asian girls are the biggest attention whores in the world too."

Oh, this amuses me.

People.

On another note, I saw track and field at the Olympics the other day. That was pretty darned cool. I wish I'd gotten tickets to the Water Cube for Michael Phelps....but I did stand right outside of it, so that means I've stood within, say, 500 meters of him. Which makes me happy.

*shakes her head* It never ceases to amaze me what people do when they have too much free time. I am glad to to see that you find it kinda amusing like I do.

I can see what you see not.
Vision milky then eyes rot.
When you turn they will be gone,
whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be,
shadowns move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind,
cast down into the ...

OMG! Those people are so funny! Of course 14 year olds can do realism with a pencil!

Haven't they heard of child prodigy Akiane?!?! She painted pictures that look so real when she was only 8 years old! [link]

By the way, draw on and make those people jealous of your awesome skills lol!

These have to be the same kind of people who can't bear to see the likes of Michael Phelps-- extreme excellence is always going to make some people feel inspired to observe it, and other people feel hopelessly discouraged...

Some people just have more talent then others and/or start developing it earlier on. I only started drawing portraits seriously when I was about 14-15 years old and only because I was bored out of my mind at school. Someone with more talent who starts earlier on is able to accomplish extraordinary things at a very young age. For all we know, you might be the next Rembrandt, Van Gogh or Picasso. The latter achieved absolute realism by the time he was about 15 and then decided he wanted something different. I guess my point is that however strongly people might oppose it, there are people with extraordinary talent in all possible fields, including art.

Wow, well to be honest I too was surprised at how amazing even your earliest works are! Theyre simply jealous at how talented you are, just like myself! I, on the other hand, accept that you have real skill. Dont listen to those jerks, theyre simply not willing to believe that youre that much better than them :D

Wow, that just left me dumbfounded for a few minutes honestly. It must be really miserable to be that freakishly jealous of someone and that insecure to slander you in such a way. It actually made me sorry you had the misfortune of reading such rubbish. Once again, you must remind yourself to consider the source even though it is so painful a reminder of the lack of intelligence in our world. :-( Unfortunately I don't find that sort of maligning amusing in the least and never will. Ugliness like that is, and will always be to me just poison.

You are great, and anyone worth a damn knows it so...:cuddle:

It's that terrifying place where loneliness itself will make her forget how to smile...
:iconxiaocaca:
Haha, yeah. I just...I mean, I'd feel like a complete dumbass if I said those things about another person, especially someone I've never met. I guess that guy is just used to feeling. :D
:iconxiaocaca:
Akiane is pwnage. 'Nuff said.
:iconzapmoi-x:
that really does make me sad, that people who are blinded by envy and insecurity enough that they'd say things like that :( anyway, i'm glad you are not letting what stupid people say bring you down, shows how much of a bigger person you are :D

you're an unbelievably amazing artist, just keep doing what you do and ignore the imbecilles
